Welcome to my website! I'm Jonty Franks, a chef and artist living in the Cotswolds and working in London. I started my creative exploration through watercolour painting as a mindful outlet when the pandemic temporarily halted my catering business.

My artistic journey began with the inspiration gained from vibrant and dazzling produce, with a particular focus on fish and crustaceans using the fluid medium of watercolours. Over time, my artistic repertoire expanded into the digital realm, drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of animals, plants and insects during the reflective time.

Inspired by my 100-year-old grandmother, Patricia Nichols, a revered painter and esteemed member of the Royal Miniature Society, I find continuous inspiration in her artistic wisdom and critique.
