Sustainable packaging & carbon neutral printing
The printer’s dedication to environmental sustainability extends far beyond just achieving carbon neutrality. They are deeply committed to addressing the issue of plastic pollution and take great care in selecting materials for fulfilling orders in a way that minimizes environmental impact while guaranteeing the pristine delivery of printed items. All packaging used for customer orders is made using a combination of sustainably sourced, recyclable, or biodegradable materials.
The printer’s are an end-to-end carbon neutral service. This means they minimize their energy usage and use suppliers of renewable energy. Where unavoidable, they offset all of their carbon emissions.
Whilst offsetting alone will not tackle climate change, however it is an immediate and measurable method to take responsibility for our carbon footprint.
Paper
Hahnemühle German Etching is a heavyweight Giclee fine art paper. With a strong mottled texture and warm base tone it creates a print with strong colors and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast. This is due to the pronounced texture of the paper enabling it to hold more ink. With its weight and strong texture this paper gives an artwork a handmade crafted feel. Hahnemühle German Etching is a robust Giclee paper, meaning it doesn’t tend to fray as much at the edges.
